About Okawville, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Okawville, Illinois is a small village located in Washington County, and as of 2010 it was home to approximately 1,400 residents. This village consists of just over 2.0 square miles of total area, all of which is land, and the Little Hot Springs of Illinois are found here. There are several schools found in the community, including Okawville Community High School and the Immanuel Lutheran School.

Okawville offers attractions and activities for visitors of all ages. Some may enjoy a trip to the Roland Barkau Memorial Golf Courses, while shopping enthusiasts might like to check out the Country Lace and Holiday Shop, the Antique Mall of Perry, and Jozwiak’s Antique Mall. History buffs might like to check out the historic homes in the area, including the Dr. Poos Home and the Schlosser Home, and a visit to the Original Springs Hotel is a necessity. Simonton’s Orchards is also found two miles south of Okawvile, and it offers seasonal fruits and vegetables, including apple picking.

The weather of Okawvile has dramatically different conditions throughout the course of a year. Summers are usually hot and humid, and while average highs reach the upper-80s, there are many days in which temperatures well into the 90s are possible. Central air conditioning is mandatory during these times, and HVAC repair professionals recommend that residents use the milder spring months to schedule preventative maintenance on their systems.

While an energy-efficient air conditioner is an asset during the summer months, a furnace or heat pump will be needed to stay safe and comfortable during the winter. In addition to keeping homes and businesses warm in the below-zero winter temperatures, these units also serve an important role in maintaining good air quality. When Okawville residents are cooped up indoors during the cold winter months, a reliable home heating system can make all the difference when it comes to their health, safety, and comfort.
